The Client:
Eurosafe Solutions training centre in Orgreave, Sheffield, is one of the leading working at height training centres in the UK.
The centre was once an office and warehouse facility that Eurosafe repurposed to become a state of the art training facility that replicates real-life scenarios as part of its comprehensive training programme.
The Challenge:
Eurosafe has used the office / warehouse rooftops to recreate life-like maintenance scenarios as part of the working at height training facility.
A walkway was required to provide training delegates with a safe route across the roof.
The Solution:
The Ascent™ Aluminium Roof Walkway was installed to protect the roof from regular foot traffic and to create a level, anti-slip, free-draining walking surface completed with guardrails on both sides for user fall protection.
Due to the pitch of the roof, the walkway was installed on levelling legs where it traverses the roof slope and then laid to the falls of the roof where it ascends and descends the slope.
Eurosafe personnel installed the walkway in accordance with the full installation specifications provided.
Ascent™ Aluminium Roof Walkways are designed and tested in compliance with EN 516;2006 and BS EN 14122- 2 &3 :2016 and manufactured at our Sheffield premises to CE / UKCA standards in accordance with BS EN 1090 manufacturing procedures.
Manufactured from 6082-T6 structural grade aluminium, Ascent™ Aluminium Roof Walkways are 100% recyclable, protecting both the maintenance personnel who use the walkway now and future generations who may wish to re-purpose it at the end of its working life.
