The Ascent Hatch Guardrail is designed to protect the fall hazard “back down the hole” when the roof access hatch is opened.
Roof Access hatches / vents typically take two forms, either manual or Automatic Opening Vents (AOV’s) – which open in the event of a fire to release smoke from the building. The Ascent guardrail has been developed to work with the majority of these hatch designs.

Ascent fall protection & Rooflight covers are designed to provide a Collective Fall protection solution for workers accessing or working adjacent to fragile surfaces. The Ascent fall Protection / Rooflight covers can be used either individually to protect an isolated hazard such as a roof light or as a system to protect a fragile roof surface.

The Ascent Guardrail to standing seam roofs was developed as a natural extension to the Ascent walkway – quite literally. Customers required fall hazards in certain areas of the roof protecting but did not require a walkway over that roof area. As a result of this the Ascent Guardrail was developed.
